About

Escape from the Zoo is a Houston-based punk band featuring members of Days N’ Daze and Doom Scroll. Blending ska-punk, crack rock steady, and folk-punk influences, the band delivers a high-energy mix of driving punk riffs, infectious ska rhythms, electric mandolin, horns, and socially conscious lyrics. Their 2022 album Countin’ Cards, released on Fat Wreck Chords, showcases their knack for pairing politically charged songwriting with fast, melodic, and unapologetically rowdy punk rock.
