The Sons of Rainier is the full band project of songwriter Devin Champlin, featuring members Dean Johnson, Sam Gelband (Mr. Sam & the People People), and Charlie Meyer. Together they create easy going alt-folk for hard times. Their music has found its way into the permanent library of hobos, widows, fry cooks, and fancy pants alike.Mr. Sam lives in New Orleans blocks from the Mississippi river, and never too far away from those he loves to hold near and dear. When he isn’t leading Mr. Sam & The People People he is performing and recording with numerous bands from all of his homes, including but not limited to The Sons of Rainier, Sam Doores, Chris Acker, & Dean Johnson.Zach Bryson writes songs and sings them. He currently resides in Nashville, TN where he enjoys playing music and writing about himself in the 3rd person on various streaming sites. My music… I mean… his music is inspired by a vast array of American music.
