That 1 Guy
Funk, electronic, experimental
About
That 1 Guy is the one-man musical adventure of Mike Silverman, a classically trained bassist, inventor, and sonic mad scientist. Armed with his homemade, seven-foot-tall contraption known as The Magic Pipe, Silverman creates a wildly original blend of funk, electronic music, experimental rock, and infectious grooves using an unlikely combination of metal pipes, strings, electronics, looping, and percussion. Add in offbeat humor, unexpected musical twists, and a little sleight of hand, and you have a live performance that's equal parts mind-bending musical spectacle and pure entertainment. There really isn't anyone else quite like That 1 Guy.
