The Darts, Service, Boxcutter

Formed in 2016 and now based in Seattle, The Darts (US) deliver a fierce blend of fuzzed-out garage rock, snarling punk energy, and dark, reverb-drenched psychedelia driven by hypnotic organ lines and propulsive rhythms. In 2018, Jello Biafra signed them to Alternative Tentacles, releasing the Bullet 7-inch and the LP I Like You But Not Like That, a record that sharpened their punchy riffs and biting hooks; they went on to tour with The Damned and appear at major festivals including Punk Rock Bowling. Subsequent releases—Love Tsunami (2022), the fan-funded Snake Oil (2023), and 2024’s Boomerang, recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer Mark Rains—expanded their sound with tighter songcraft, explosive choruses, and a heavier psychedelic edge, earning international press, radio and television appearances, and sold-out shows across the US and Europe.
